I hope you spend the christmas holidays without stress together with your whole family. It is a polish tradition to share ones wishes for each family member via eating a christian Oblates. Basically we are following every single polish tradition. According to German tradition, you can eat Raklette, sausages, sauerkraut. However, we start with a homemade beetroot soup ("Barszcz") with "Uszkami" (ravioli filled with mushrooms), and I can eat it in huge portions. As a snack inbetween, we eat herring with cream and onions.

Today is Christmas Eve and soon the year 2016 is knocking at the door. As everybody says each festive look is completed with the perfect hairstyle. Today I present you a few hairstyle ideas: Let it be the classic blow-out hair, or rather an elegant updo, maybe sexy Beach waves within just a few minutes or should it rather be an entirely new hair color? Like every year, I am celebrating my birthday today :) I just came back from Cracow (yeah, my boyfriend convinced me to watch the new Star Wars movie at the Imax- theater and I must say: It was pretty amazing!!!), Back in Wroclaw, we will celebrate my special day and I am looking forward to it because , as every year on my birthday we enjoy a fancy dinner, and a cultural aspect is also planned. But everything is a surpirse and will be soon revealed by Michael! On the 21.12 I will fly back to good old Germany and there will be part 2 of the bday- celebration , this time with the family :) Twice is always better. I'm already very excited about the cake!
EN Is there anything better than the cuddly Christmas season ? Everywhere it smells of freshly baked gingerbread, family time (can also be very stressful as in the movie "Single Bells"), softly crackling fire, and a bunch of gifts under the christams tree. I am very pleased to celebrate my birthday in December since everything is decorated for Christmas. I love its athmosphere. A must on every Christmas market visit is a hot chocolate with amaretto shot, which are presented here in Wroclove in a bootee, and for eating a coated strawberries on skewers with chocolate :) What are your must-do`s on a xmas-market?
EN Wintertime means cookie time! Today I present you a fudge cookie recipe and I can assure you and many other friends that it is truly worth it to bake them! As during christmas time, you can give them away in a jar (like the ones from Ikea), add a red ribbon with a ginger man and this would be an awesome present for any cookie lover! Good luck!
EN I have lost my heart to Bauhaus. This happened during my stay in Barcelona when I visited the German pavilion for the World Expo a few years ago. A model house of modernity impresses with its filigree design, with walls of green marble, alone the freestanding onyx wall is a work of art. The architect Mies van der Rohe designed especially for this pavilion the famous chair, because he said later: "I couldn`t ensemble simple kitchen chairs." Even after the final resolution in 1933, the design school lost none of its inspirational charisma. During the relatively short existence, the ideas and innovations of the Bauhaus had developed into a philosophy and influenced designers such as Charlie and Ray Eams and Arne Jacobsen. They also prescribed the symbiosis of form and function.
EN We were eating every day amazing food on our last trip to Prague, Czech Republik. It was truly a gourmet trip! I love to eat Italian food, then comes Thai-food and French. The Czech cuisine is very greasy, so no wonder that the czech people often suffer from cardiovaskular disease. On our first night we decided to eat in Kolkovna original restaurant, where you can enjoy the typical dish: bread dumplings with Knedlicky plus Pilsner beer aside.

Today I won`t welcome you yet with a Christmas special recipe, but that will happen soon- I promise! Finally it is December, my favorite month: It is cold outside and you cuddle up closer to your loved ones, warming each other while softly sizzles the fire in the chimey, and in the background Christmas carols- oh, how beautiful. Moreover december is one of the busiest month of the year : First comes St. Nicholas day with its candies, then my birthday, Christmas Eve, the anniversary of my parents (they are already 30 years together!) and finally New Year`s Eve. Sometimes life can be really stressful, especially during the Christmas season ;) As well remains not so much time for a little refreshment. Today I introduce you to an extremely simple, but also very tasty snack that is rich in proteins and you need only six products for it. So here we go!

Keeping the upcoming occasions in mind such as Christmas, New Year`s Eve or any other party weekend, I created a moodbaord for you about the topic "Glitter & Glamour". As you`ve already seen in H&M x Balmain collection a shimmering sequin dress was already a true eyecather. To complete the whole glamourous look, you can wear it together with metallic accessories (clutch plus pumps). For the very brave ones among you, one can also cover the eyes or hair with silver glitter particles (as seen above). During the autumn-winter collection of Phillip Lim the asymmetrical cut and fake fur were in spotlight. Fashionistas from all over the world got inspired and took this item from the runway to everyday life to prefect their streetstyle look wearing a faux fur stole in a variety of colors like in soft powder rose or cream caramel wearing it casually over their right shoulder.

EN Hello, my dear readers! I`m fascinated by Phillip Lim`s Fall-Winter Collection 2015 Ready-to-wear! The Colours black, burgundy and silver dominate throughout the collection. Lace upon stillettos, asymmetric cut and a playful interaction of various combined materials give this fashion line a special touch. EN Hallo my lovelies! I`m presenting you today another post from Prague and finally you get to see my outfit with my new black overknees. They are new, so it was just a matter of time until I had injuries around my ankle. But nethertheless, that`s very common for new pair of shoes and it doesn`t matter how comfy they are- a big plaster ono the wound and off we go! I combined my overknees to a lightgrey plaid skirt and a dark blue sweater with the inscription "Karma", an in-the-sun-shimmering black winter coat. Concerning my juwellery, I chose my beloving cute teddy necklace from Tous. Hope you like it! How do you wear your overknees?
Hello my dear readers! As you might have already seen on Instagram I was in Prague for a couple of days and enjoyed once again this beautiful city with its vibrant, youthful climate. EN I have to make a confession: I was never a real fan of the overknee boots and I thought they weren`t for everyday use - until yesterday! I literally felt in love with these black ones from Wojas, flat, very comfortable. You can definetely wear the flat ones everyday than the high heeled ones ;) They can be combined in so many different ways: My favourite option is when you wear them with a sweater plus mini-skirt or any dress. Black overknee boots emphasize your long, grazile legs. They are definetely an sexy eye catcher, and a must-have for this season.

EN A few weeks back in Warsaw, I had the oppurtunity to participate in a Congress of Implantology where I was allowed to listen to the words of Fernando Rojas - Vizcaya. From 9a.m. to 6 p.m we were presented numerous cases and rules to keep in mind for the best esthetic result for the patient.

EN As already in the last post mentioned, I promised to show you guys how to wear this autumn`s Key-Piece. The beige, long vest fits perfectly to a white blouse, green pants and Stan Smith Adidas Original Sneakers. Top is very much autumn, but below its is still a bit summerish ;) In my opinion it is just the great mix, although I cannot wait to wear my boots. Already in today`s fotoshooting, I was a bit freezing and literally ran home to drink my hot chocolate cuddling up in bed.
EN Long vests may spice up in all its possible colors like beige, blue, gray, any outfit. It is the key piece of this autumn. Find a basic shirt or blouse in your wardrobe and combine it with a long vest. In my opinion, a wonderful trend that I like to follow. Vests are already typical for specific German bloggers like for example Nina by fashiioncarpet and Leonie from Ohhcouture with her "layering".

EN Music plays a big role in my life- I simply dont appreciate silence (except when I need to study) otherwise it reminds me like on a cold graveyard. That`s why I am very happy when "Narodowe Forum Muzyki" opened and on each weekend live music will be played. Let it be Jazz, or classic music like Vivaldi or Tschajkowsky. When the orchestra starts its Staccato, followed by the string instruments, I get goosebumps all over my body.
EN Hello, my lovelies! Before my Warsaw trip attending the Implant Masters Poland Kongress leaded by the famous Fernando Rojas Vizcaya, Michael and me were having a delicious brunch at Giselle on Szewska street, Wroclaw. Exactly at that time, the Kawa Festival started. Many cafes like Bema, FC Cafe, Nadodrze, each one of them created a special dessert which one can enjoy together with delightful coffee.
EN For this photoshoot, we decided to climb up all the stairs of the mathematical tower of Wroclaw University and enjoyed its view over my favourite polish city. I was wearing my favourite green jacket from H&M, my brown skirt with fringes and my off-shoulder blouse (you will get a better view of it in the next post).

My boyfriend Michael and I enjoyed the beautiful italian city Bologna ("the red and fat") for one week. We drank il vino bianco (white wine) and ate Tagliatelle al Ragu or Tortellioni filled with pumpkin sprinkled with parmesan on a daily basis and even once I was invited into a Michelin-star restaurant "I Portici" (Misiu, you are amazing!), where we believe it or not savouired nine mouthwatering courses- for this extraordinary taste experience, I will dedicate a separate blog post in the near future. Of course, the typical sightseeing such as the Neptune Fountain (Fontana del Nettuno), Le Due Torri, MAMbo Museum, Archiginnasio, San Stefano i.a. were on our to-do list. Luckily our trip took part last week, because since then the temperature has risen dramatically on the thermometer and we would have only strolled under the Porticoes (the 45km long arcades) to escape the heat. In today's post you will see the Archiginnasio with its famous wooden anatomical Theatre, that was built by Antonio Levante in 1637 for anatomical lessons. Concerning my outfit, I'm wearing an olive-green jumpsuit, my beige bucket-bag and extremely comfortable Adidas sneackers by Stan Smith plus golden accessories as an accent. Sneakers are amazing for a city trip- super comfortable and luckily being very in fashion! EN This would be possibly my personal outfit for cycling: Striped Marine top , white shorts , brown or silver sandals to match. It was long time ago that I picked up my bike - shame upon me! And how about you? Grab your bicycle, your new accessoire for this session! After these inspirational stylings, which I found on Pinterest , the desire grabbed me again to get on my old bike and ride through the fields while my hair would flutter wildly. This freedom to feel again and well , the insects that would crawl all over me. How I`ve missed it ;)
EN I was recently in the locker room and listened unintentionally to a conversation next door: It was a mother who had an argument with her little daughter in for me foreign language. It sounded something like a "blablablabla, DENTIST balabla." As if it is the worst thing ever in the world to go to the dentist. Clearly it is not a pleasure, but many people, especially young parents do the mistake and take their child to the dentist if the child is in pain and cannot endure it any longer. Mostly, it is then too late. Drills have to be used, apply the medicament, cover it with temporary filling and see you next time.

Es hörte sich etwa so ein "blablablabla, ZAHNARZT balabla." Als ob es das schlimmste auf der Welt wäre zum Zahnarzt zu gehen. Klar ist es kein Vergnügen, doch begehn viele Leute, sowohl auch junge Eltern, den Fehler, dass sie erst mit ihrem Kind dem Zahnarzt einen Besuch abstatten, wenn das Kind die Schmerzen nicht mehr ertragen kann. Meistens ist es dann auch zu spät. Es muss gebohrt werden, ein Medikament wird eingesetzt, darüber noch schnell eine temporäre Füllung und bis zum nächsten Mal.
EN I highly recommand you to pay your dentist at trust a regular visit, which of course depends upon your risk of developing caries. There is a model from Sweden, which is used to represent graphically the risk of caries. The 'Cariogram' is a new concept, conceived initially as an educational model, aiming at illustrating the multifactorial background of dental caries in a simple way.
What is a Cariogram? It is an interactive illustration in which the individual's/patient's risk for developing new caries in the future is shown, simultaneously expressing to what extent different etiological factors of caries affect the caries risk for that particular patient. However, the Cariogram does never specify a particular number of cavities that will or will not occur in the future. It rather illustrates a possible over-all risk scenario, based on what can be expected depending on the interpretation of available information. Cariogram as an interactive PC-program has been developed for educational, preventive and clinical purposes. The Cariogram, a pie circle-diagram, as seen in the screen, is divided into five sectors, (see figure below) in the following colours: green, dark blue, red, light blue and yellow indicating the different groups of factors related to dental caries. An explanation of each sector follows below.
The green sector shows an estimation of the ‘Actual chance to avoid new cavities’. The green sector is ‘what is left’ when the other factors have taken their share!
The dark blue sector ‘Diet’ is based on a combination of diet contents and diet frequency.
The red sector ‘Bacteria’ is based on a combination of amount of plaque and mutans streptococci.
The light blue sector ‘Susceptibility’ is based on a combination of fluoride program, saliva secretion and saliva buffer capacity.
The yellow sector ‘Circumstances’ is based on a combination of past caries experience and related diseases.
The bigger the green sector, the better from a dental health point of view. Small green sector means low chance of avoiding caries = high caries risk. For the other sectors, the smaller the sector, the better from a dental health point of view.
General rule: high risk: come every 3 months
medium risk: every 6-12 months
low risk: every 12- 24 months
So people, go to the dentist regularly. It has no sense to say, "I'm afraid of drills," etc. because if you do not take care of your teeth, you definitely need to face the worst. For those who really are terrified, you can take a deep breath: There are alternatives for the typical drilling procedure such as Carisolv. Das Cariogram wurde als interaktives PC - Programm für Bildungs- , präventive und klinische Zwecke entwickelt. Das Diagramm wird in fünf Sektoren aufgeteilt in den Farben grün, dunkelblau , rot, hellblau und gelb , die die verschiedenen Faktorengruppen im Bezug zu Karies veranschaulichen sollen. Eine Erklärung der einzelnen Sektoren folgt weiter unten.
Der grüne Sektor zeigt eine Schätzung der "Chance, neue Kavitäten zu vermeiden ". Der grüne Bereich ist 'was übrig bleibt ", wenn die anderen Faktoren ihren Anteil genommen haben!
Der dunkelblaue Sektor "Diät" basiert auf einer Kombination von Diät und Häufigkeit der Nahrungsaufnahme.
Der rote Sektor "Bakterien" basiert auf einer Kombination von Menge von Plaque und Mutans Streptokokken.

Je größer der grüne Sektor, desto besser erscheint es aus der Zahngesundheitlichen Sicht. Ein kleiner grüner Bereich bedeutet geringe Chance zur Vermeidung von Karies = hohes Kariesrisiko. Für die anderen Sektoren heißt es, je kleiner der jeweilige Sektor, desto besser ist es.
Faustregel: hohes Risiko: alle 3 Monate zum Zahnarzt
mittleres Risiko: alle 6-12 Monate
geringes Risiko: alle 12- 24 Monate
Also Leute, geht regelmäßig zum Zahnarzt. Es hat keinen Sinn zu sagen, "Ich habe Angst vor dem Bohren" etc. denn wenn Ihr Euch nicht um Eure Beißer kümmert, muss man definitiv die Turbine in Angriff nehmen. Für diejenigen, die echt panische Angst haben, Ihr könnt aufatmen: Es gibt Alternativen für das typische Bohren wie z.B Carisolv. Wenn Ihr mögt, kann ich beim nächsten Mal Euch mehr davon erzählen. It was on a Sunday morning, when Michael and I wanted to enjoy breakfast and we have chosen this local because of its many positive opinions. They will serve you in English, German, Spanish and Polish, in a polite way. The interior is furnished playfully and the walls are decorated with numerous works of art. Even on one board every customer has the oppurtunity to perpetuate his/her name. Concerning the food: I usually have cravings for some sweet, so I decided to order the American pancakes with raspberry sauce plus Lemonade. Michael rather picked up the savory and ordered the egg omelette plus salad aside. I must confess, dear readers, that these pancakes were the fluffiest I`ve ever eaten and it was a great amount of that mouthwatering dish (4 pancakes). Highly recommandable! Since then, when I crave for something sweet, I choose to go to Central Cafe and order my favorite dish. By the way: I`ve gheard that their bagels are also very tempting, but that we will try on our next visit. Michael couldn`t disagree with his option: His omelette was very appetizing and even with such a simple dish, they`ve earned an A plus. :)
EN What things we poor woman always have to carry around with us?! Of course, it can vary from day to day, but with these things, I'm definitely not leaving my home. On sunny days, I like to fan myself with my original spanish "abanico" (fan). In last year`s post, I`ve already wrote about tricks on how to stay cool during the heat. Check it out! (Here) I love my new bucket bag from Zara made out of cow leather. I must confess that I rather spend my money on a quality bag, and not on the unnecessary crap. For example, I really liked a minibag in lemon color of Zara, but it was made out of Polyurethane, which felt nasty. This little box by Pylones with the sweet fish imprint was love at first sight. Ok, I`ve first seen the imprint on a toaster back during my trip to Prague, but seriously, 70€ for a simple designer toaster is really overpriced in my opinion. So I left it, and rather chose the small case with the exact same fish imprint. Instead of using it for cigarettes (its original use), I keep my business cards in there. :)
EN Today I present you once again an interior design post and there are beautiful dining room today at the center. I very much like the "Bauhaus" style with its legendary Eames chairs, a spacous white room where the whole family plus friends and acquaintances can gather around and have a chat. I live currently still in a small apartment, right in the city center of beautiful Wroclaw but that will surely change soon, when I will move back to Germany (Hamburg, Cologne,..?) and it never hurts to have a sneak peek at the future large apartment. There's nothing better than to let his imagination run wild and make his own home according to own`s one imagination. And should it be better than at home? ;)
