In fact, I'm already the 3rd time in Rome: The first time was with my high school class, (short and strenuous), then on a vacation with my parents, where we were sightseeing until my feet were sore and this time I visited rome with my boyfriend where we just did the most important sights and then most of the time just chilled. I must confess that my favourite trip was the last one, right in the romantic neighborhood of Trastevere. We had every day two or three must-to-do's, as you can see below e.g. the Vatican Museum, and then we went back into our charming apartment, after a short fresh-up we went out again for some cacio e pepe in the moonlight with a glass of wine: What`s more to be desired? :)
EN A design apartment was the home for my boyfriend and me for exactly 7 days. It was in the charming neighborhood called Trastevere right within the quirling life with wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars. It was near the Tiber Island, where you could enjoy some nightlife between the Romans. Either you had the option to dance to music which you may heard in those classic italian Hollywood movies, or you could enjoy white wine on a white soft sofa. There was also a bar nearby, where while drinking mojitos one could sit on steps between all the colorful pillows and listen to the rock background music. I had truely no expectations regarding the nightlife in Rome, but it is truely a must to stroll through the following streets in Trastevere regarding the crowd of people, hip bars like "Pimm`s Good": vicolo del Cinque und via della Scala.
We are the champions!!!
This is Germany's fourth World Cup victory, having won last in 1990, and previously in 1974 and 1954.
Hello my friends!
Here I present you one of my favorite outfits: Bright, colorful, candy-like;) The first part was shot in Wroclaw, where the latter has been in Rome, in Villa Borghese, to be more accurate. I must say that I love Italy- here one can learn more about the roman history and on the other hand you have awesome sunny weather and the food. Cacio e pepe is a typical roman speciality which is simply tagliatelle with cheese Cacio garnished with pepper. Simple, but truly a great pleasure! I have just returned from Rome and already miss their delicious, homemade pasta. I've been thinking to buy a machiene to make pasta on my own! I'll keep you up to date!
In keeping with the World Cup, I present you the Brazilian speciality called "Brigadeiros", the chocolate pralinees. They are easy to make, very delicious and you can even try different variations: The traditional way is to decorate them with chcocolate sprinkles, but I ran out of them quickly, so I had to dip the rest in almonds. What seemed to be out need, turned out into a masterpiece!
