EN It is unbelievable how many awesome things one can find in H&M! I think I slighty underestimated this swedish brand, as a matter of fact that they produce nice basics, and if you were on a search for something special you usually prefer Zara, Mango or Massimo Dutti. But as it seems I was wrong. Have you ever heard about H&M Trend? Well, as you see here I present you my lovely dress from this section, which really attracted a lot of attention while I was walking by. Since I have been busy the last months with studying, I had only the possibilty to shop online.
Gdansk, the long market
Having a photo taken with Neptune is the duty of every tourist in Gdansk. This characteristic statue having his trident was designed by Peter Husen. Today the Neptune Fountain is one of the most important landmarks of the city, chosen by tourists as a meeting point and the object of photo sessions. Although the fountain´s origins are directly connected to the merchant and burgher history of the city, it was nevertheless accepted by the communist authorities and became a symbol of the city.
EN Hello my dear readers!
I`ve been travelling around for a while through Poland and soon everything will be documented on Red Chilli Lounge - don`t you worry about that! Concerning the Outfit: I combined grey jeans a la Kate Moss (yes, I definetely needed this colour in my closet and found the perfect fit in H&M) together with this artistic, wide blouse. The colours grey, black and turqouise look amazing to the new bought Slim Fit. I added the geometrically shaped bag (H&M), which you already know from "Baby Blue Dream", and the most comfortable boots in the world (already seen in my older post "Summer in the city"). This blouse from Zara had to be in my hands and reminded me from another brilliant purchase - the top with pineapple print worn together with hotpants.
What do you think about this look? I hope you like it as much as I do. Enjoy your sunday!
EN It is so astonishing how everything looks much prettier, warmer during summer days. My first trip to Łódź was in cold February month, where it greeted me instantly with an under construction sign on their usually prettiest street called Piotrkowska. Now many months later, I could see the urban city life in its full blossom: Piotrkowska street with its hollywood street walk enumerating its famous stars like Beata Tyszkiewicz (actually my mom was named after her) and Roman Polanski.
OFF Piotrkowska with its charming cafes by day, and turning into an alternative, off-beat area by night, where you could enjoy a fresh sandwich at midnight. The biggest shopping mall in whole Poland called Manufaktura attracted not only young & old to do their latest shopping trips, but also offers them a small "beach" with day beds and cold mojitos aside.
This city is definetely worth a visit, so mark it on your travelling list!
EN Isn`t it a relief if you have a (parents-) house with large garden? As soon as the sun casts its warm light rays back on humanity, really everyone slips out of his/hers hiding place. Either you learn outside while the birds humming around, or bouncing around in a hammock while reading your latest favorite book, or you take pictures for your blog. In Wroclaw I have my own nest right in the center, but unfortunately without a balcony, on which you could do a BBQ party. I better not complain, since it is sufficient to escape from the apartment and sit down in the local park not far away minding one`s one business.
EN September has brought us as the end of August much rain, but we should not always put this negative thoughts in connection with the bad weather. It is time that the Germans stop nagging - whether in the restaurant where you wait a little longer for the ordered food or at the airport, the delay of the flight is announced: Time is too precious to waste it on nagging and sullenness! I would say you should emphasize the positive aspects of a rainy day and grab the opportunity with both hands. In the sunshine outside activities are the main attraction, while during rainy weather rather staying at home is in the foreground. Then again it is finally time to read the book you always wanted to read, listening to music, just stay in bed and chill. I made you a book list and it goes as follows:
