EN Do you remember Cafe Monsieur on Wiezienna Street? Sadly it is gone, but instead of the mustache, a brand new venue is waiting for you and achieved already No. 8 out of 20 on the list of Ale Lokale. - This truely sounds promising! It is only a stone`s throw away from where I live, so I decided to try their delicious tapas together with my boyfriend. Le Chef has a industrial interior mixing warm wood furniture together with the rather cold appearing white brick walls.
As many people have prejudice against IKEA furniture, I must emphasize that the composition of the dominant colours black, white, brown and mustard yellow truely fit into its whole concept. The food is served simply and in an charming way on wooden tablets, so the meal litterally gets its fully deserved attention.
DE Könnt ihr euch noch an das Cafe Monsieur auf Wiezenna Straße erinnern? Leider mussten sie schliessen, aber stattdessen des Lokals mit dem berühmten Schnurrbart wurde ein brandneues Cafe/ Tapas- Bar eröffnet. Kaum erfüllen sie die hippe Straße mit ihrer Präsenz, erreichen sie mit einer spektakulären Platzierung Platz 8 von 20 auf der Liste der Lokale Ale als Representant für Breslau. - Das klingt wirklich vielversprechend! Es ist nur ein Katzensprung entfernt, von wo ich wohne, also habe ich beschlossen zusammen mit meinem Freund ihre köstlichen Tapas auszuprobieren. Le Chef hat ein industrielles Interieur mit einem Mix aus warmen Holzmöbeln zusammen mit den eher kalt erscheinenden weißen Ziegelwänden. Es gibt viele Menschen mit Vorurteilen gegen IKEA Möbel, doch muss ich betonen, dass die Zusammensetzung der dominierenden Farben Schwarz, Weiß, Braun und Senfgelb wirklich ins gesamte Konzept passt und gut harmoniert. Das Essen ist einfach und auf einer charmanten Art und Weise auf Holztafeln serviert, so dass das Essen buchstäblich ihre völlige verdiente Aufmerksamkeit bekommt.

EN Despite "only" eating tapas, with a set of 4 dishes, like we did, your stomach will be fully satisfied. Sure, one can choose lunch menu including a fresh soup, but thats only until 4 p.m. It is definetely a great choice to eat out here, where warm climate and well-spiced food achieve a great balance close to the city centre. Yet another trendy venue worth paying a visit appeared on Wroclove`s colourful culinary map.
DE Trotz "nur" des Tapasessens, mit einem Satz von 4 Gerichten, wie wir, wird jeder Magen vollständig zufrieden sein. Sicher kann man ein Lunch-Menü inklusive einer frischen Suppe wählen, aber das ist nur bis 16.00 der Fall wie in jedem Restaurant. Es ist definitiv eine gute Wahl fürs Ausgehen, in jenem Lokal, wo das warme Klima und das adequat gewürzte Essen eine gute Balance erreichen. Wierderum ist neuer Ort auf Wroclove`s kulinarischer, bunten Landkarte erschienen und definitiv einen Besuch wert!
