Hello everyone!
I am back after a long break from writing, since a lot has happened after 2nd May 2017, the day of the big question: Since then, we have prepared ourselves for the wedding, have moved 3x and have started a new job. Wow, when I think about how stressful everything was and I never thought that we would manage all.
Likewise, I never thought how elaborate the wedding planning is: Finding the right invitations with price / performance ratio and the appropriate wow effect was probably the first difficulty. Then it was the right choice to find a photographer and the right live band, which one should definitely do 1 year before the wedding. There will also be a detailed blog post about the wedding preparations and about the most beautiful day soon. So stay tuned!
Since we are real gourmets and it does not mean anyway "love goes through the stomach", we had a delicious 3-course menu in the restaurant "Rive Gauche". As a starter there was - without fun - a cheese specialty from Freiburg. As a main course we enjoyed a steak garnished with salad and french fries and as a dessert there was another maracuja ice cream crunch miracle. All in all it was definetely a great Trip, also our first official trip as husband and wife. Have a great wednesday! Hear you soon!

Ich melde mich von einer langen Schreibpause, da so einiges nach dem 2. Mai 2017, dem Tag des Antrags, passiert ist: Seitdem haben wir uns sehr auf die Hochzeitsplanung vorbereitet, sind 3x umgezogen und sind einen neuen Job angetreten. wow, wenn ich daran denke, wie stressig das alles war und ich hätte nie gedacht wie schnell die Zeit vergehen würde und dass das alles machbar wäre.
Ebenso hätte ich nie gedacht wie aufwendig die Hochzeitsplanung ist: Die passenden Einladungen mit Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und dem angemessenen Wow- Effekt zu finden, war wohl die erste Schwierigkeit. Danach waren es den passenden Fotografen und die passende Live-Band zu ergattern, welches man definitiv 1 Jahr davor machen sollte. Einen ausführlichen Beitrag über die Hochzeitsvorbereitungen und über den schönsten Tag wird es auch in Kürze geben.
Darum brauchten wir verständlicherweise nach dem ganzen Trubel auch einfach kurz Zeit für uns, um auch dem ständigen Schrauben der neuen Möbel und dem Putzen im neuen Apartment zu entkommen (ebenfalls wird es Interior Posts demnächst geben). Also entschlossen wir uns für einen Kurztrip nach Zürich, Schweiz. Das Wetter war einfach unglaublich! Sonne pur, nicht zu warm oder stickig. Ebenfalls waren wir mit unserem selbstausgewählten Hotel Motel One Zürich begeistert: Die Lage ist sehr gut (nahe der Altstadt) und ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Im nachhinein haben wir erfahren, dass es das größte Hotel in Zürich ist.
Da wir richtige Feinschmecker sind und es nicht ohnehin heißt "Liebe geht durch den Magen", haben wir ein leckeres 3-Gänge Menu im Restaurant "Rive Gauche" uns genehmigt. Als Starter gab es - ohne Spaß - eine Käsespezialität aus Freiburg. Als Hauptgang genoßen wir ein Steak garniert mit Salat und Pommes. Als Dessert wurden wir mit einer Marakuja - Eis - crunch- Spezialität erfreut.
Alles in allem war es ein wunderschönes, chilliges Wochenende. Ebenso war es unser erster offizieller Trip als Ehefrau und Ehemann. Habt eine schönen Mittwoch! Bis bald!

Ich finde es großartig, dass du dich dazu entschieden hast, einen Wochenendtrip nach Zürich zu unternehmen. Die Stadt hat so viel zu bieten, von einer malerischen Altstadt bis hin zu einer dynamischen Schwulenszene. Als schwuler Mann kann ich mir vorstellen, dass du besonders an den LGBTQ+-Bars und -Clubs interessiert sein könntest, die Zürich zu bieten hat.
