I was glad to have taken part in a meeting with design and art during the second edition of the International Festival of Good Projects – WROCLOVE DESIGN 2014 which was held on 14-18 May. Wroclove Design is the very first event in Wroclaw and in Lower Silesia which presents design and art on the European scale. This Festival combined the worlds of design, architecture, art and business. Plenty of exhibitions, workshops, meetings and lectures were included in the schedule.

Many projects were presented, including the electronic dice DICE +, as was also about time that the board game is revolutionizing ;) Personally, I have played around and I must say I am impressed! Unfortunately, it would be a more expensive fun with the acquisition of the new cube you have to pay 40 € for it! Design has its price. Furthermore, a new computer mouse was introduced , who appears to be a casual computer mouse and the next moment it is bracelet! Rosenthal , Kartell and Alessi were of course also represented.

Beim Kidsdesign haben sie sich was ganz simples einfallen lassen: ein Papppinguin, der als Süßigkeitenspender dienen soll und Stoffkissen in Form von BH oder Brille, Pistole etc. Beim Mobildesign (Skimboards und Bikes) wurden die neusten Modelle vorgestellt- sei es nun sportif, retro oder einfach nur mädchenhaft :)

Im großen und ganzen war ich sehr zufrieden mit diesem Festival: Es gab reichlich an Angebot, viele Bereiche wie Mobil, Technik, Wissenschaft wurden vertreten und die neusten, cleveren Designstücke konnten selbst ausprobiert werden. Neben der Ausstellung, gab es Vorträge und auch Workshops wie z.b. Jutebeutel bemalen, Beton gießen und Siebdruck. 
Ich bin sehr stolz auf mein Wroclaw, die nun zurecht zur Kulturstadt 2016 nominiert wurde!
