Velvet \\ Trend Report

12.12.16

Royal and for a selected circle only already since the Middle Ages: Velvet, a material which celebrates its fulminant comeback in 2016. If velvet was formerly made exclusively from silk, it is now also woven from cotton, viscose or synthetic materials. Whether in the form of coats, pants or jackets, sporty or romantic, worn on your feet or around the wrist: Velvet is as versatile as ever. Personally, I welcome this trend very much as I am a proud owner of its many variations (mostly dresses in combination with cold shoulder, also sweters and bags).
I love its texture, it is very feminine and also changes somewhat its color when lights falls upon it. Generally I adore velvet in dark colors like pool green and deep blue, but since I was doing a small research about velvet, I am more and more getting into this material. It is like a drug seen in many variations, and all have the same potential by looking damn good!

LOOK AFTER YOUR FAVORITES

Velvet does not belong in the washing machine, but absolutely in a cleaning of your trust. For small spots, do not rub or wring on the fabric. The wet fabric should also dry when lying down, preferably on the floor or on a towel on a clothes dryer.

There are many online shops which offer a variaty of the latest trends among them stylewe.com. You can find the red dress when you scroll down this post also in the woman section - I simply adore it! It emphasizes our feminine curves and with the red colour for sure every men`s blood pressure will rise above normal. Besides Pinterest, and other fashion blogs, I like to get inspired by the latest trends via Instagram.

What is your main source of inspiration? How many velvet things do you personally own? What do you prefer: velvet on shoes, clothing or accessoires?
