WM- Special: Brigadeiros

2.7.14

In keeping with the World Cup, I present you the Brazilian speciality called "Brigadeiros", the chocolate pralinees. They are easy to make, very delicious and you can even try different variations: The traditional way is to decorate them with chcocolate sprinkles, but I ran out of them quickly, so I had to dip the rest in almonds. What seemed to be out need, turned out into a masterpiece!

Now I'll tell you what you need and how you shall proceed:

1) 1 can condensed milk - sweetened !!!
2) 1 tablespoon Butter
3) 1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder
4) chocolate chips
5) optionally chocolates bowl made of paper
6) almonds

1) 1 Dose Kondensmilch - gezuckert !!!
2) 1 Esslöffel Butter
3) 1 ½ Esslöffel Kakaopulver
4) Schokoladenstreusel
5) ggf. Pralinenschälchen aus Papier
6) Mandeln

First, take the butter in a pan and let it melt. Take away the pan and pour in the condensed milk and mix the melted butter togethre with the cocoapowder. Now keep the pan on low heat, and keep stirring continuously. Caution: it really can take up to 20 minutes, until you get the final thick mass!
Only when you gained a "road" with the wooden spoon through the thick mass, then you have achieved the good consistency. Afterwards, rub your hands a little bit with butter and form small balls. Dip them in the chocolate chips or almond and put them into the paper bowl. In the end, leave them in the refrigerator for about 1 hour and then go to eat them all up! :)
